This was a dream come true for me!

I remember a few years ago I bought a new car and for the first time, I had Apple Car-Play in it. When I connected my iPhone, there weren’t many apps available to use this new function. Here in Europe, podcasts are not that popular yet, and back then, no one knew what they are. So I started exploring the Podcast app, and since I love entrepreneurship, I was mostly looking at podcasts aimed at us, entrepreneurs. I remember yours was very high on the recommended list and so I subscribed and started listening to it while traveling. I love your calm nature that is so much like what we are used to here in Europe. And for a very long time, my dream was to be your guest. Now that dream became a reality, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for it!

Get Your Voice Heard!

You are ready to create your podcast but are overwhelmed by the logistics of it all, and frankly, the bad advice that you are probably getting in too many Facebook groups? The list of bad advice for a budding podcaster is daunting and much of it should be firmly ignored. I am happy to chat with you to help you sort it all out and get your podcast up and running smoothly and without losing your mind.

I have been podcasting for over 16 years and Your Partner In Success Radio is ranked as one of the top 2% most popular shows out there. As of 2023, there are at least 3,271,790 podcasts and 186,419,481 episodes in the world, ranked by Listen Score (the estimated popularity score). And I will tell you quite frankly that I belong firmly in the K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) camp of podcasting.

Contrary to some of the really bad advice you are getting in the aforementioned FB groups you don’t need to spend a lot of money on equipment or hire podcast editors and you can enjoy the process and get your voice heard!

Solution

You will have a bit of homework to do before we jump on the call though so be prepared to answer these simple questions.

  1. Know what you want. Without having a clear vision of exactly what you desire, you won’t be able to build up enough motivation to get through the obstacles you are sure to face.
  2. Know why you want it. Why do you want to reach specific podcast goals? What will it mean to your life? Think about all the people in your potential audience who really want to hear what you have to share. Do you really want to let them down by not showing up?
  3. Set goals that excite you. It’s beneficial to set reasonable goals that are easy to reach. I would never suggest stopping that. However, it can also help to set some relatively wild or audacious goals. These goals might seem out of reach right now, but the allure of reaching them in the future might motivate you in the present.
  4. Are you willing to track and measure your progress? Winging it is really not an option. You will need to see where your efforts are paying off and where you might need to adapt your approach if it becomes necessary. You will need systems!
  5. Are you an action taker? When you see an opportunity do you seize it or add it to your ‘to-do’ list AKA as “Yeah, that ain’t happening hon”!
  6. What inspires you to be a podcast host? Not a trick question. People get inspired by different things. If you want to maximize your motivation, then you need to figure out what inspires you and lead with that.

Denise Griffitts is an amazing podcast host!

I’ve had my fair share of podcasts, even on top-rated shows, and in my eyes, Denise Griffitts goes toe to toe with the best podcast hosts in the business. Smooth conversation adds so much value to her listeners, always keeping them first. Very pleased to have been a guest on the podcast … if you aren’t already listening, you’re missing out!

What a privilege!

Loved my interview with Denise Griffitts! She’s highly relational, asks great questions, and was willing to share her own learning as we unpacked the 5 Voices together. For someone so successful she models an amazing level of humility and takes genuine delight in serving her global audience. Looking forward to working with her again in the future.

Refreshing!

Denise has such a calm and fun air about her. Interviewing with her was like having a cup of coffee with a mentor. She asked great questions that got my brain moving in a different direction, and then gave me lots of room to fully answer without interruption. Denise is thoughtful and generous. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Denise Griffitts is a wonderful podcast host with a unique voice!

Ana and I both had a total blast chatting today. I always love being a guest on Denise’s show — she is such a character, asks such great questions, and follows the conversational threads to find such fascinating places! When I say “unique voice” I mean her style, her perspective, her take on things, not her actual physical voice. But her actual physical voice is phenomenal — like molasses. No, honey. Maybe both.

Fantastic Conversation!

I was recently a guest on Your Partner in Success Radio. Denise Griffitts is wonderful to work with and such a great conversationalist. Her personality really makes the show entertaining and not just another business podcast. Yes, it’s packed with tons of valuable information but in a lighthearted and real way. Thank you Denise!

Wonderful, engaging experience!

I’ve been on many podcasts. I have to say that I appreciate the thoughtfulness Denise Griffitts puts into selecting guests, preparing for the conversation herself, and the pre-interview call to make sure it’s a smooth process and experience. Our conversation flew by and felt more like a conversation than an interview. Denise shows up authentically human and makes it a safe space for her guests to do the same (which is what people want to listen to). I thoroughly enjoyed being a guest on Your Partner in Success Radio and look forward to a return visit!
